Refund Policy

At Moiane Construction (Pty) Ltd, we are committed to delivering quality construction services and ensuring client satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be considered and processed.

1. Services Covered

This policy applies to services offered directly by Moiane Construction (Pty) Ltd, including but not limited to:

Residential and commercial construction
Renovations and refurbishments
Site inspections and consultations
Custom project-based construction services

2. General Refund Policy

Due to the custom nature of construction projects, refunds are not automatically granted. However, under specific circumstances, clients may be eligible for a partial or full refund, subject to the terms below.

3. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be considered in the following cases:

Project Cancellation (by client):

If a project is cancelled before work has commenced, a partial refund may be issued, minus any administrative or planning costs already incurred.

Overpayment:

If a client accidentally overpays, the excess amount will be refunded once verified.

Failure to Deliver (by Moiane Construction):

In the unlikely event that we are unable to commence or complete the project for reasons within our control, a fair and reasonable refund will be offered based on the stage of the project and expenses already incurred.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following costs are non-refundable:

Deposits for custom material purchases
Labour or contractor fees already expended
Completed work or services rendered
Third-party costs (e.g. permits, outsourced specialist work)
Cancellation of projects after materials have been ordered or work has begun

5. Deposits

All projects require a deposit, which is non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing. This covers planning, resource allocation, and scheduling.

7. Processing Time

Refund requests are reviewed within 7 business days. If approved, refunds will be processed within 14 business days via the original method of payment, unless otherwise arranged.

Moiane Construction reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. Any updates will be posted on our website with the effective date clearly stated.
